Employee Handbook

I. Introduction

This section of the Ringside Wrestling web site is set up to explain the rules and responsibilities of the roster members as well as explain how certain situations will be handled in Ringside Wrestling.  This handbook can be changed and/or added to, but all changes and amendments will be submitted on the forums.

 

Please keep in mind that we do know that this is a game and that you cannot really force anyone to do anything.  But there are some of us here involved that like to play the game and like to play it in a professional way.  We also believe in a good work ethic.  If you're going to do something, you might as well do it right the first time. And lastly, we believe that if you commit to something, you should be a man or woman of your word and follow through with your commitments.

II. Rules

1. Get your work turned in before the deadlines.
2. Respect is earned not given.
3. Don't take anything personal.
4. Try your best to get along with everyone.
5. Do the right thing.

III. Insights

Singles - Anyone listed under Singles Competitors not in a Fellowship.

Established Team - Any team listed under Fellowship Competitors.
Temporary Team - Any two singles competitors paired for one or a few matches.


1. Singles competitors are required one Insight per match.
2. Established Team versus Established Team - Each team is required one Insight.
3. Temporary Team versus Temporary Team - Each team is required two Insights.
4. Established Team versus Temporary Team - Each team is required at least one Insight up to a maximum of two.

5. Singles versus Temporary Team - Both Singles and Team are required one Insight up to a maximum of two.

6. Singles versus Established Team - Both Singles and Team are required one Insight.

 

Word Count Limits (Based on user poll)

2500 words for Insights posted Tradition, HYPE! or any other weekly show.

3500 words for Insights posted for Super Cards, Pay Per Views, or other Big Events.

IV. Segments

1. Segments are not required but encouraged to further storylines and angles.
2. If you sign up for a segment slot, please do your best to submit it in time for the show.


V. Matches

Regular Match Finishes
1. One Fall Finish
2. Win by Pin, Submission, Count Out, Referee Stoppage or Disqualification
3. 15 Minute Time Limit

 

Championship Match Finishes

1. One Fall Finish

2. Win by Pin, Submission, or Referee Stoppage

3. No Count Out

4. 30 Minute Time Limit
5. Though not advertised, you cannot be disqualified in a championship match

 

Gimmick Matches

1. The rules of all gimmick matches must be fully explained to both participants in the match as well as the match writer

 

VI. No-Showing

1. If a new hire no-shows his/her first match, they will automatically be dismissed.
2. Talent that has been here for at least three matches will be given three chances.

    a. Chance One - Slap on the Wrist

    b. Chance Two - Two Week Suspension/Forum Banning

    c. Chance Three - Dismissal

3. No-Shows will be excused if a valid excuse is given or if you contact the staff in advance.


VII. Divisions

There are four division in Ringside Wrestling:

1. Curtain Jerkers
2. Fellowship Division
3. Commonwealth Division
4. Ringside Division

 
Division placement is left of to the discretion of the division heads and Ringside Wrestling management staff.

 

VIII. Discipline Methods

Like all games, if someone breaks the rules, there is some sort of repercussions to their actions.  Here in Ringside Wrestling, these are those repercussions.

 

1. Warnings - Can be issued over IM, PM, or publically on the forums.  More than likely, this will be handled privately.
2. Suspension - What this includes is that your character will not be booked and you will be banned from the forums.

3. Dismissal - Total removal from Ringside Wrestling

 

IX. Championships

 

There are three championship currently in Ringside Wrestling.

 

1. Ringside Championship

    - The Top Tier Title of Ringside

    - All matches include a Re-Match Clause

 

2. Commonwealth Championship

    - The Middle Tier Title of Ringside

    - Will be defended at least two or three times a month.

    - Matches do not include a Re-Match Clause

 

3, Fellowship Championship

    - The Tag Team Tier Title of Ringside

    - All matches include the Re-Match Clause

 

X. Swearing and Cussing

All swear and cuss words posted in Insights, segments and matches, will need to be censored.  Please replace one or more of the characters of the word with symbols.
